GEOMETRY
COURSE DESCRIPTION ~
Geometry begins with developing the tools of geometry, including transformations, coordinate geometry, proof, and constructions. These tools are used throughout the course as students formalize geometric concepts involving lines, angles, perimeter, area, surface area, volume, congruence, similarity, triangles, quadrilaterals, trigonometry, circles, and parabolas.
There is a focus on modeling, problem solving, and proof throughout the course.
